FLORALS IN CONVERSATION

$190.00

This piece is a curation of wildflowers, including wattle, waratah's and banksias, that are shown from different perspectives to the human eye. The florals are in stages of bloom that would never be seen gathering in the wild side-by-side, which adds a heightened sense of illusion.

Artwork 7 of 10 for the series "THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS". This body of work began by documenting florals whilst road-tripping around the southern coastline of Australia. A grounding in discovery and documentation slowly transitioned to one of imagination and curation as everyday life changed and isolation as we have come to know it began. As I completed these works in my home studio, colours were embellished as layers of loose brushstrokes were slowly added and florals arranged in ways I have only come across in my dreams.

Each finished piece is handcrafted in Brisbane, Australia using sustainably sourced timbers for framing. Each limited edition print has been lovingly photographed, and then reproduced on 310gsm fine art cotton rag papers by one of Australia's top printers. All materials used for the frames are archival and acid-free. Your heirloom piece ships ready to hang within 2 weeks of order.

"FLORALS IN CONVERSATION" is available only in a limited edition run of 50 pieces (across all sizes and print types).
